The last decade had a lot of action films, and I mean a lot. If you're curious to see which ones had the biggest impact on the 2010s, look no further. In no particular order, here's the list of the action movies of the 2010s you should either watch for the first time or watch again.
In the west, 2014's Godzilla was a great revival to the franchise, and it reinvigorated people's interest in the King of the Monsters. Even outside of the west, the film was praised. Japanese critics praised the nature of the film for being similar to that of the Japanese originals, while at the same time putting its own twist on it.

A cinematic masterpiece by all accounts and winner of multiple awards, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was universally praised by film critics and casual movie-goers alike. It will be seen as a modern classic and a must-watch for any Marvel fan.
