Waking up to the sound of temple bells and the soft rustle of the Ganges is something I never imagined would feel so normal. It's my fourth week here, and every day of this 500 hours yoga teacher training india has been a deep dive into both discipline and discovery.
The mornings begin with meditation at 5:30 AM — sometimes under the open sky, other times in the shala. At first, I struggled to sit still, but now I actually look forward to it. The silence has become my teacher in ways books never could.
Our asana practice today focused on advanced backbends, and wow — I felt both powerful and humbled. The instructors here are incredibly knowledgeable, blending traditional Hatha and Ashtanga with alignment cues that have changed how I see my body.
In the afternoons, we dive into yoga philosophy and anatomy. It’s intense, but I love how the teachings connect beyond the mat. I’m realizing this 500 hours yoga teacher training in India isn’t just about becoming a better teacher — it’s about becoming more aware, more present, more real.
I came here hoping to refine my teaching. I had no idea I would be reshaping my entire approach to life.
Grateful. Exhausted. Inspired. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
