You can (+1(888)6654879) cancel your plan by calling 1-800-GEEKSQUAD
For many Protection Plans, you can also cancel online through the Best Buy / Assurant customer portal: log in to your account, find your plan (often under “My Plans” or “Plan Dashboard”), and select the “Cancel” option.
You may alternatively cancel by visiting a Best Buy store in person and speaking with a Geek Squad representative, especially if you purchased in-store or need physical proof of purchase.
Refund & Cancellation Policy : (+1(888)★665★4879)
Within the first 30 days after purchase or plan receipt: You’re generally eligible for a full refund, provided you haven’t used any service benefits from the plan. The full price is refunded, though they may deduct the value of any services already rendered.
After 30 days:
Refunds become pro-rata — meaning you’ll get the portion of the plan that wasn’t used. They will subtract costs for services you already used under the plan.
For monthly continuous plans, cancellation stops future charging, but coverage continues through the current billing period.
For yearly or renewed one-time pay plans, you may receive a refund for the unused portion of the term.
If the protected product is returned: If you return the product that the plan was attached to, often the associated Protection Plan cost is also refunded, depending on how old the plan is and whether any services were used.
Service Recovery Fee: Some plans may include a fee (called a “service recovery fee”) if cancellation occurs after a certain period. Be sure to check your specific plan’s terms.
