It means her father is the legal guardian. He can make legal decisions for her and veto others, like having a baby or getting married. She can't even spend her money without permission.

Flash forward, 12 years later. She has sold out multiple tours. She was a judge on the X-Factor tv show. She has become a better mom and has a stable relationship with her boyfriend. She's been doing really good. 

so why isn't the multimillionaire and popstar in charge of her own life? In the last few months, Britney has tried to get her father removed as her legal guardian. The courts had said no at this time but they will review it in time. This queen deserves to live her life in freedom. She isn't allowed to get a lot of things other adult things like others get. She needs her own life free of her Guardianship. The #Freebritney movement has advocated for her freedom as well.
