What Makes You Laugh?

When it comes to a laugh, what makes a joke good? For each demographic, class, gender, race, and person the amount of humor varies with a given joke. So again, what defines a “comedic genius” from just another “dad jokester?” 

while analyzing trends on platforms such as TikTok, FaceBook, Reddit, and Twitter, you start to find a trend; a formula that has taken over. Who decides that these are the funny jokes? It if firmly believed that humor derives itself in a yearning to find joy, as well as community. If the majority laughs, you are enticed to laugh and find joy as well. 

Shows such as “Friends” and “The Office” are declared some of the most important modern comedy, yet when watching many jokes may pass you by on the different levels, this is where we majority humor plays a role in our perception as well as a firm grasp on the creator’s writing. They add levels of the joke so it can hit on many different levels.

Humor is different for everyone, yet we are always curious as to why.
