Personal Choices To Change Life Before Thirty

The greatest achievement in life is first living a life worth remembering. Use time - the determinant of existence, to become better . Understanding the stage you are in life helps in setting new goals, drafting better strategies and winning more in life.

Life is a journey- grow through it.

Life becomes what you make of it. Try to think of life as a journey- at some point, you stop to make choices that affect you personally.  Before thirty years of age, you are flexible and have a lot of energy to gather information. While past thirty, it becomes time for implementation.

Neuroscientists describe that people operate at full throttle while approaching 30 years of age.

Does life begin at 30 or 40?

Research shows that life begins at 40. However, that reflects a stage of actualization and specialization to earn a living and make plans to accumulate a fortune.

If you meditate daily to develop self-awareness and harness the potential of your abilities, you would disapprove of the mythical theory that life begins at 40.

Personal efficiency starts at age 30 because you possess maximum knowledge of opportunities, skills and have a sense of direction. It is at this time that productivity and allocation of time should match the goals in life.

In a universe where everything operates on the law of cause and effect, the economy rarely tolerates getting something for nothing for a long time. As a result, most people drift through 25 to 30 years in a startle, without accurate knowledge of the surroundings and how it affects their economic status.

Your efforts match the results at hand

Jim Rohm said, "What you have, Mr. /Miss (insert your name), you have attracted by the person you have become." For many people, to accept responsibility to become better and take accountability for your life is never easy.

Personal choices sum up the quality of your life as the effects of your actions become significant while approaching 30 years. To achieve what you want, you must live, act and consciously try to become better by offering more service than required.

Adjusting how you interpret experiences and events in your life creates a base for a new regeneration to a more harmonious life. Life reflects the choices you have made since knowingly or without any idea.

As you understand yourself, decide to make choices that reflect who you are and not what people think you should be - author

Here are personal choices to change life before thirty and increase productivity,

Base every action on truth and justice.

As Napoleon Hill quoted in 'Think and Grow Rich, every action not based on truth and justice shatters and comes down at some point. It cannot stand the test of time.' You need to engage in actions that positively impact all of whom it involves.

You can operate from the point of truth and justice by making choices with enthusiasm based on what you know is proper, possible, and necessary. The fact gives you the energy to take action and perseverance even when situations change.

Human beings are born with a strong sense of intuition. Most people realize when they are not true to themselves or adhering to laws of the heart. At this point, you lack a sense of confidence, feel guilty about reducing your productivity.

Focus more on who you become than what you get.

It's a pity for most people who focus on monetary compensation than what they become out of a job. Overcoming the tendency to check the payslip seems complicated, but you have to try.

The secret is value – concern yourself with how much you are worth rather than the figures on the payslip.

Jim Rohm had an outstanding knowledge of the benefits of personal development. He once said,

When you work harder on yourself, you make a fortune; when you work hard on a job, you make a living.

If you are currently employed, ask yourself,

  • What am I becoming here
  • What new skills am I gaining
  • Does my current job challenge me to be more productive
  • Do I follow a routine or create exciting memories every other day?

Working and focusing solely on a job's paycheck tends to stagnation. You become used to going to work, spending the day doing what you are used to, and finally getting paid at the end of the month.

On a light note, focusing on a job makes you blind to many opportunities and the beauty of life. You have to decide if it's a lifestyle you want and focus on becoming better or continuing with the current trend.

Exercise regularly.

Schedule some time and get to the gym. Pump fresh blood into your system and once again remember how it feels to be lively away from the constant work.

Boredom creates monotony and kills productivity. Unfortunately, many people know that the more time you spend on a project determines the results you get. No! It doesn't work that way. Spending quality time on a project yields better results.

Organize your day and set some time aside to let off steam. Exercise has numerous benefits to your health, productivity level, and overall aura at work. Here are some of the benefits associated with daily routine,

  • It boosts your productivity
  • It boosts your confidence
  • It helps maintain and enlarge your social circle
  • It's a healthy regime to let stress off
  • It reduces the risks of blood pressure and related cardio diseases.

Specialize in an area or two of your interest.

Specialization wins the game at the end of the day. It's good and highly recommendable to be conversant with as many topics as possible. However, discipline creates a higher niche for you as you become recognized by your strength and not a do-it-all.

Learn a new skill and become the best in that field, sharpen an already acquired skill or become a consultant as an added service for your profession. Specialize in an area that you are interested in and observe the change. It will give a higher ground for your services and earn more and get better work opportunities.

Develop your self-confidence.

Would you achieve anything without self-confidence? Probably not.

Self-confidence shows up in several ways, and you can tell whether a person is confident with how they work on a task, express themselves or handle an emergency.

Self-confidence is a prerequisite for more significant achievement in any walk of life. The work industry helps negotiate and win deals, relates well with coworkers, and enhances creativity by giving suggestions when asked.

Leadership positions are given to the most confident individuals to convince people and yield good results.

Avoid conformity to societal norms.

The problem in today's economy is people are copycats. For instance, there was a reported scenario where thousands of students enrolled in the universities selected to pursue real estate and actuarial sciences. The problem was inadequate work positions due to the flooding of one kind of profession in the industry.

Interests and passions differ from one person to another. If you took time to listen to your inner impulses, you would probably go to the extent of changing your current job and investing in an area of your passion.

Conformity causes people to live a less meaningful life than the one they imagined. Under all circumstances, agreement kills more dreams than failure ever will. So, become your authentic self.

Organize yourself.

The organization defines the way of doing, structuring, and following laws that govern your existence. When you are organized, you have a habit of being at the right place, doing the right action at the right time. The organization makes you successful because it gives purpose to life.

Opportunity favors an organized person. Set goals and define a definite time for their achievement, work diligently, and you are assured of their attainment. Become as organized as you would be if you were successful.

Read a new book monthly.

Every successful man became so with an adequate accumulation of knowledge. To engage in a new venture, you need information on how to do it. Books are nuggets of wisdom documented from the minds of influential people who tamed their minds to create a solution through willpower.

Knowledge is power when used to achieve an object of desire or whatever you want out of life. Read diverse genres and specialize in what contributes to your personal development. Like going to school, discipline your mind to acquire new information weekly and, equally important, learn a new idea each day.

Be a good listener and develop an interest in people.

Humans are creatures of socialization. Through meeting new people, you discover new cultures, learn new ways of action, and adopt better personalities than yours.

Socialize with the right kind of people to add value to life as they challenge you to become better.

Ever heard no man is an island? That's right. Ideally, you can't have access to everything you need to sustain in life without the help of others.

If you want to learn more, listen more and talk less. Be a good listener - When you hear, you accumulate more information and understand situations well. Listen to new people and their ideologies, then filter what's valuable and what does not work. In return, you become more intelligent and respected wherever you go.

Finally, avoid stressful situations and people.

Life is about growth and a constant realization of a worthy goal. When negative people surround you, they drain your energy. You lose motivation to pursue ambitions in life and hence experience fear.

Negativity kills dreams

For instance, you decide to start going to the gym every day. Suppose you start with a partner and complain how it's hard and can't take it anymore after some time. Eventually, at some point, your partner quits. It demands much courage to move on and achieve the goal.

When you lose a companion in pursuing a goal, the reality makes most people give up because they lack a sense of what they do. However, use negativity to some extent to challenge yourself to become better.

Bottom line

Psychology states,

The change of attitude has the power to translate an undesirable situation into a better one.
