Using Light To Heal Your Body

The world we have is created full of light, including artificial light that is emitted day & night.

Your body releases chemicals such as cortisol in response to light that make us feel alert and able to sustain many activities such as walking, eating, exercising, and so on. Meanwhile, your body releases other chemicals such as melatonin that support sleep, rest and recovery.

The exposure to artificial light (Blue light or White light) all day long disrupt our body natural sleep cycle and also the rhythm that keep our bodies functioning optimally.

How to use light in our favor?

  • Reduce Junk Light (Blue Light/White Light)

Artificial blue light is such a problem, it suppresses your body's production of melatonin which tell you when it's time to go to sleep.

Most Led bulbs lack many of the sun's natural frequencies that our bodies and brain needs to function such as (infrared, red and violet light). They also emit at least 5 times more blue light than the sun.

Use this tips to reduce your blue light exposure:
-After 8:00 pm Switch to lighting your environment with red LEDS or candles.
-Wear glasses that filter out blue light.
-Go outside for 10-30 minutes a day to get adequate UV light Exposure.
  • Add Beneficial Light (Red/Infrared Light)

Red/infrared light Therapy restores, repairs and protect tissue that is injured, degenerating or even at risk of dying by activating stem cells.

Red/infrared light Therapy also increases level of nitric oxide, which increases circulation that ensures your cells are nourished by blood, oxygen and nutrients.

Most effective wavelength range from 630nm to 670mn (red light) and 810nm to 880nm (infrared). Light at these wavelength penetrates up to 8-10 millimeters into skin and affect your cells on a biochemical level.

    This decreases:
    -Inflammation.
    -Improves Skin Tone.
    -Repairs Sun Damage.
    -Promotes Hair Growth.
    -Stimulates Collagen Production.
