Are Natural Skincare Products Good For Your Skin?

#skincare #beauty #naturalvschemical

This is a 21st myth about "Go Absolut Natural" for those who obsessed with "green", "organic", and "natural" but did not really research what natural products mean.

If you were born in the "before Christ" era, I definitely said: "YASSSS, go ahead. Put that natural aloe leaf around your skin." However, that era does not involve pollution and ultra-violet ray from the sun. The "natural" word is very diverse and flexible for everyone's perspectives. For example:

If I said: "Oh, I will put Sodium BiCabornate into the flour for baking a cake?"

You except chemistry expert will definitely think: "Hell no, I will not eat that cake. This lady tries to poison me."

But if I said:" Oh, I will put Baking Soda into the flour for baking a cake."

You just nodded without thinking.

"Natural" products do not mean it will protect you from the irritant or damaging your skin. For example: If I request you to put Poison Ivy on the entire of your face, definitely you will run many miles to avoid even though it was complete 100% natural. Same as other natural products. The problem with natural products is where they were grown. Some manufacturers use chemicals like GMOs or even pesticides for their natural ingredients. And if you put "natural" strawberries which you bought from a supermarket, your skin definitely gets irritated and even can cause cancer.

Also, natural products are very expensive, and hard to preserve. Basically, you do not only waste your money but they do not affect efficiently. Also, you have some of the skincare products in the fridge. It will be very difficult and inconvenient if you share an apartment with people. Some companies used "green" "natural" and "organic" as their many slogans to lure customers to buy their products. However, in their ingredients labels, they still have some chemical ingredients such as fragrance, paraben, and silicone. So reading labels and using samples before buying a product is the best decision before investing huge money in skincare.

About skincare products, scientists have to take so many times and energy to get what safe ingredients work best for your skin. Think back to the skincare companies, they definitely do not want you to get irritated and refund with a frowned face. It is not financially good for business but also affects reputation.

Overall, choosing the products that make your skin love you with a budget, not choosing something is just because of labelling "Natural" "Green" and "Organic".
