5 Fashionable Movie/series You Should Watch

1.Emily in Paris (2020- )

Starring Lily J Collins,  this Netflix series is based on Emily, the girl who moves from Chicago to Paris unexpectedly for a job in a marketing firm known as Savoir. It is a comedy, drama, romance genre series. The Netflix series is full of fashion and so much about French culture and food. She faces continuous intricacies like not knowing the native language, nobody listens to her 'boring', 'Mid-western' ideas but still she manages to keep herself connected. Though some of the critic reviews have also disliked the costumes wore by Emily but to decide on your own you must watch this!

2.The Tourist (2010)

This is an American romantic thriller film starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp as lead roles. Elise, that is played by Angelina Jolie is a mysterious woman who is under the surveillance of Scotland Yard, Interpol, and some bad guys. She meets a guy name, Frank, on a train to Venice and falls in love with him who was a math teacher. The movie is mainly centered around Angelina Jolie whose simple one glimpse or gesture, left the audience stunned. Elise never desisted from giving one-after-one fashionable outfits that the audience must love whether it be the pretentious black gown matched with the vintage necklace, the sheath dress in cammel and ivory colors, matched with gloves, the vintage gray dress, or the white silk dress worn with red lipstick sums up all the outfits.

Ultimately, The Tourist is fun as it ends with lots of visuals and action. But you can never know the reason behind the movie's title unless you watch it.

3.Peaky Blinders (2013- )

Peaky Blinders, a television show loosely based on the reality of the Birmingham Gangsters Peaky Blinders that was active in the late 19th century to early 20th century. The show describes the elegant and classic fashion of the time. Thomas Shelby a.k.a. Tommy Shelby, head of the Shelby family with his younger and older brothers used to look after the deals and businesses. The show depicts the vast variety of fashion among different levels of societies like the rich used to dress up differently compared to the poor or middle class. Tommy and his brothers used to wear a dress consisting of three-piece suit, a newsboy cap, detachable collar shirt, oxford laced boots, and a heavy overcoat. Detachable collar shirts were costly at that time, therefore the secondary characters of the show used to wear shirts without the collar. Even after having so much wealth and status, Shelbys chose to wear nicer versions of what the poor members of the society used to wear rather than flashing off the money in front of them. Newsboy caps were a symbol of recognition of their family so they always used to wear that. The show is full of art and aesthetics which multiplies the class of the show. They also accessorized their outfits with single Albert chains, pocket watches, tie bars, ties, and bow(only used to worn by Arthur Shelby, the oldest brother). Even after being so rich, Tommy could easily afford any soft-colored, velvet kind of glove but still, he always stuck to the Gray/Black Fort Belvedere Gloves.

Even the female characters have shown lots of fashion varieties during the show whether it be  Ada's 1920s style (which is quite ahead of the show) of bobbed haircut and drop-down dresses, May's random Theda bara eyeshadow that she used to wear all the time or it is Aunt Polly's stunning suits through which she used to stole the whole show for a moment. Words would be less to express everybody's fashion from the show, it would be much easier if you just watch the show and decide by yourself that whose style did you loved/related the most!

4. Élite (2018- )

Élite is a Spanish thriller teen drama television series which can be watched on Netflix is a story of a private school (which is full of secrets) in Spain where rich kids used to study but every year three students of the lower/working class used to get the scholarship and admission in the school. The rich kids didn't like these students who came by scholarship and used to mock and humiliate them. Elite season one had two timelines - the aftermath of the murder of Marina (Maria Pedraza) and the events that lead up to it. The story begins, however, with the arrival of three new pupils into the elite secondary school Las Encinas - Samuel, Nadia, and Christian (Miguel Herran).In the beginning, everyone tries to make each other feel down or challenge each other to insult some particular. There are lots of characters and lots of stories going on which creates real fun. Being from rich families, every student in the school has their own style of fashion whether it be Carla Lason Caleruega - her taste in fashion was noble, class, and extravagant. Obviously used to wear high-end luxury outfits, fancy bodycon dresses with flashy accessories. She even used to make the school outfit elegant by adding ribbons and ties or Lucrecia Montesinos style of outfits which was sleek, redefined, ostentatious. She was kinda born ready for parties with her extravagant headbands to modish outfits. There are lots of other male and female characters with whom you can relate your style.

The clash between them leads to a murder and the whole suspense in season 1 is about that mystery murder. Revealing the murder here would not be a very good idea. So, watch the show and find out which character's wardrobe defines your style and the murder mystery too!

5.Ginny & Georgia (2021- )

The Netflix series is a story of a free-spirited mother Georgia with two kids Ginny and Austin, who move to a small affluent town in Wellsbury, Massachusetts. Ginny is 15 years old but behaves more mature than her 30 years old mom. Ginny falls in love with school friend Hunter but also wants to be with Marcus, a neighbor who lives in front of her house across the road because of whom she gets in trouble. On the other hand, Georgia's past scenes keep flashbacking whenever she does something horrible or even good too. The show goes on crazy turns of mystery, romance, crime, and scandal.

Georgia's fashion sense always stole the show with her outrageous outfits. She always used to wear those clothes which made her feel confident whether it be bright colors or form fittings. The yellow summer outfit genuinely left everybody stunned in the beginning as nobody had any idea about the plot and it was shocking when they revealed Georgia as Ginny's mother in the show.  Some of the outfits that were really amazing from the show can be: the little black dress from Kenny's funeral, All black on Casino night, her first date scene, powerful in red moment, cozy in layers, the Mayor's Fiancée where she wears a pristine all-white suit with a stunning beige coat for the outdoor even or the family photo outfit in the end.
