Vacation In British Columbia, Canada

Traveling to British Columbia in Canada has its benefits. You plan lots of things and pack big luggage especially for winters and cool funky clothes for summers.

Now before starting, set your timezone because British Columbia follows the pacific time zone.

One thing to keep in mind is BC is diverse so you will see people from different countries, religions, and cultures speaking different languages and eating different foods. So get ready to get diverse. There are lots of beautiful cities in BC like Whistler, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Vancouver island that have its beauty with mountains, lakes, and food.
Don't forget to eat different foods from different countries like Sushi from Japan, Butter chicken from India, Poutine, a very Canadian dish, or the butter chicken poutine which is my favorite. Hotels and Airbnb both options are available according to your pocket. A room in summer can be 30$-50$ approx on Airbnb, and hotels can be 70$ approx for a day for a single person, and the prices can go up in summers compared to winters.

First, let’s talk about the BC summertime and what you can plan.
BC has its charisma for summers. One can try hiking in the mountains to enjoy surfing on the water or spending a nice chill time on the beach. BC has so many mountains and mesmerizing lakes that have its beauty. If you are planning to go in summers then don’t forget to keep cool looking shorts because you don't want to go to the beach in a pair of jeans obviously in cool shorts and T-shirts or shirts. BC has one of the best lakes and small islands in Canada like Okanhagen lake, Joffrey lake, Harrison lake, and some lost lagoons which you can explore while hiking like Garibaldi lake or lost lagoon in BC mountains. There are some small islands like Bowen Island, Langdale island, and Vancouver Island that have their beauty. There are so many places to explore like mountains and lakes in each city that have their virtue. Try going out in Granville Street, Gastown, and Cambie which is known for their spending chill time on old streets. Try to keep a warm pair of clothes in the bag because you never know its BC climate changes here frequently all the time and umbrella. If you can take out some time then try traveling to Kelowna, Osoyoos, or Cowichan valley they have the best wines in BC.

Let's talk about the winters in British Columbia.
Winter is all about the snow, cold winds, and rain. Yes, you heard right rain in winters which are weird but it has its charm which starts after beautiful fall in October end with the streets full of colorful leaves and nature colors yellow, green, and red. The temperature can go down until -8 between December and January. Most likely lakes in BC get frozen but still, you can do small hikes like quarry rock or Squamish trail which has the best view from the top of the mountain. Usually, in winter people prefer doing indoor activities rather than hiking but if you can challenge yourself BC mountain looks much better in the snow with a beautiful view which is priceless. If you like snowboarding or skiing then winter is the best time to come and enjoy all the activities in the mountains. Usually, you can take a seasonal pass and enjoy all season winter activities like skiing or snowboarding in Whistler, Cypress, or Grouse mountains. Beware of driving in the snow because you need to change the winter tires, and it is good to have AWD cars to drive in the snow.

Conclusion
Overall, You can go to British Columbia in both summers and winters. It has its charm in both the seasons but winters could be from November to March and Summers are from May to September end. Each season you can do certain activities and enjoy the time and weather with your loved ones. It's mesmerizing to see the beauty and color-changing nature of the BC all-around year. As the place is so diverse with so many nationalities every month you celebrate some festivals from different countries and may end up making good friends from different countries.
