Hot take, brain wealth is just biohacking with better branding. The underlying ideas have been around for decades.
Does this film actually explain why Jaafar was chosen over someone with more acting experience, or does it just present the family connection as sufficient explanation?
The God of High School comparison is brutal but fair. Great action, hollowed out story, forgotten within a season. The Boxer cannot survive that same treatment because the story is the entire product.
My only concern with an anime adaptation is pacing. A lot of the humor lives in facial expression panels and the slow build of a comedic beat. Bad pacing would absolutely kill what makes Lloyd so funny.
The art style during demon tech sequences has a completely different visual language than the murim scenes and that's intentional contrast, not inconsistency.
The article keeps calling the protagonist's existence bleak but I actually find it kind of peaceful? Like watching someone who has made peace with a reality most people would find horrifying. There is something meditative about that.
It is still too early in the run to call this the darkest release of 2026 with any confidence. Check back when it is finished. But as an early contender, absolutely.
Anyone else notice the Replit pivot story buried in this post? They laid off half their staff, nearly collapsed, and then launched the agent that generated $150M in revenue within about a year. That is a founder story for the ages.

Meta has just had one of its most important AI moments yet and the early signals are hard to ignore. Following the launch of its newest AI model Muse Spark, the company’s standalone Meta AI app surged dramatically in popularity, hinting at a much larger shift that is beginning to take shape. The release is particularly significant because it marks the first major AI model rollout under Alexandr Wang, who joined Meta to reboot its AI strategy. This is not just another incremental update. It represents a more aggressive and focused push into the AI race. According to data from Appfigures, Meta AI jumped from number 57 to number 5 on the U.S. App Store within a day of the launch. That kind of movement rarely happens without a strong underlying pull from users. It signals not curiosity but intent.
Real talk, a 16 year old vulnerability in video software that survived five million automated testing tool hits without being detected is a more frightening datapoint than the 27 year old OpenBSD one. That software is almost certainly still deployed at scale everywhere.
This would look incredible at an art gallery opening. The modern cut mixed with that bold yellow is gallery worthy itself
Those heels are stunning but I'd probably swap them for block heels if I'm standing all day
Just ordered similar bracelets but in silver. Think they'll work just as well with this style?
