Sold purely on the panel layout description in this article. Good panel composition is the thing I miss most when manhwa gets adapted to other formats.
What is the recommended chapter count to read before the anime drops in July? Asking because I want enough context to appreciate the adaptation but not so much that I spoil everything.
The thing that gets me about Omniscient Reader is how it makes you think about your own relationship to stories and characters. No other system manhwa has made me actually reflect on why I read these things.
The point about ghostwriting as a metaphor for inhabiting someone else's story is the kind of literary layering that most manhwa would not bother with. Whether the execution lives up to the concept is a different question, but the intent is clearly there.
Reminder that this is the same financial system that took down the global economy in 2008 partly because nobody fully understood the complexity of what they had built. Legacy code with unknown vulnerabilities in an AI threat environment has some structural similarities.
They are not contradictory at all. The Google and Broadcom deal secures compute for the next few years while the in-house chip program, if it proceeds, would not produce anything useful until 2028 or 2029 at the earliest. These are parallel tracks for different time horizons.
Instagram has rolled out a small but long overdue feature that users have been asking for years. You can now edit your comments after posting them. This simple change solves a very real frustration. Until now, fixing even the smallest typo meant deleting your comment and writing it all over again. That friction is finally gone. But there is a boundary. You get a 15 minute window after posting to make edits. Within that time, you can update your comment as many times as you want. There is also a layer of transparency built in. Once a comment is edited, others will be able to see that it has been modified. However, unlike platforms such as iMessage, Instagram does not show the edit history. What was originally written stays hidden.
In a rare divergence from industry norms, TikTok has confirmed it will not adopt end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for direct messages, breaking with nearly every major social media platform and reigniting one of the tech industry's most contentious debates. The Chinese-owned video platform told the BBC exclusively that it believes the privacy technology championed by Meta, Apple, and others as essential for user protection actually makes users less safe by creating "dark spaces" where harmful content can flourish beyond the reach of safety teams and law enforcement. The decision puts TikTok in direct opposition to its competitors while potentially exposing the company to fresh criticism over data protection, particularly given ongoing concerns about its ties to Beijing.
I tried a similar look but swapped the lace top for a silk cami. Works just as well for those who find lace itchy!
You could totally swap the heels for combat boots to edge it up a bit. I love outfit versatility!
I'm thinking about getting this sweater in a size up to wear with leggings. Thoughts?
I've found H&M striped shirts look just as good as expensive ones once they're properly ironed. Saved me so much money!
